The hands behind Yarnelle
Hi, I’m Devi — the maker behind Yarnelle.
Yarnelle didn’t begin as a business. It began on a quiet evening, with a ball of yarn on my table and a mind full of questions about life and future. I picked up a crochet hook simply to keep my hands busy, but something unexpected happened — my thoughts slowed, and for the first time in a while, my mind felt calm.
I made a coaster. Then another. Soon my home filled with small, useful things made by my own hands — a basket for keys, a holder for the table, flowers that never wilted. They weren’t just decor anymore. They were comfort, and a reminder that even during uncertain times, I could still create something steady.
Today, every piece at Yarnelle is handmade by me, one stitch at a time. I create simple, functional objects meant to quietly live with you — the coaster used during evening tea, the basket you reach for every day, the small gift given when words aren’t enough.
Because a home isn’t made all at once.
Sometimes it’s built through small, gentle details.
